Hey Mr. Edgerton,

My name is Bradley Morris I met you a few weeks ago in Crystal Springs,Ms when you were in town for our tomato festival. I was the young man at the SCVA tent and the supper at Amerigas. I'm not sure if this is your personal email or not but if it is I have some questions to ask you. I go to the University of Mississippi(Ole Miss) and a couple years back the banned the battle flag from campus and the football stadium. A lot of people were very upset and it was a serious blow to the pride of the fans. Now they are getting rid of our beloved mascot Col. Reb which is an old white man with white beard and walking cane. The inspiration for Col Reb was a old Black Confederate soldier who lived on the campus of ole miss after the war. They claim that the image of a white man in confederate greys is a sore part of Mississippi history. We are the Ole Miss Rebels. Our band "The Pride of the South" still plays Dixie after every game win or lose. Roads on our campus are named after confederate war heroes and battles. Or chant is Hotly Toddy Gosh Almighty who the hell are We.. Flim Flam Bim Bam Ole Miss by Damn.. which is a Mississippi confederate battle cry. What I'm getting at is what will be the next to go, and how do I stop it. People down here are to worried about what people will think or who they will offend to stand up for what is right and our southern heritage. After what happened in Selma, all know it will not be much longer before everything that was Ole Miss will be gone. If there is anyway you maybe able to help the people of Mississippi would be thankful. If I were to be out there with my flag giving my speech they would consider me a racist, a bigot, or just some ole redneck bitter about the war. With you it is different they see a man defying odds and breaking the mould. They see a man that defies everything they have ever been taught about the south and the flag you carry. I will help you in anyway I can.God bless you and all that you do..

Dear Bradley,

First of all let me say that I enjoyed fellowshipping with my Mississippi family at the table of brotherhood at the Amerigas facility and the Tomato Festival was off the hook. I only hope that Commander Webb and the Sons will invite me again.



The University of Mississippi has decided to take the low road of political correctness like so many institutions in America that have climbed into bed with those who not only hate all things Southern,

but are afraid that if truths are ever discovered by our now searching young minds who have at their disposals an electronic network ; not only will bills have to be paid for the war crimes, but the planned modus operandi that was set up with the public school system after the War Between the States to inculcate into the minds of our national populous measures to divide and separate black and white Southern folks will crumble down upon them. People have to understand that the Confederate flag is the symbol of a people who believed in a Constitutional Republic and in adhering to the laws set upon them by the founding fathers in that document and were willing to separate themselves from their brothers and fight a war against incredible odds for those principles.



The victory did not come for the North when the Honorable General Robert E. Lee signed that so called treaty at Appomattox Courthouse on April 9, 1865. It came when Southern Blacks and Southern Whites began to see themselves as enemies because of all the devices that this man from the region of the north did to make it seem so. Bottom line truth is that in lieu of the economic institution of slavery that was rammed down the throats of an honorable Christian people, they did all that any people can do against a government that rules them to make life bearable for those who were enslaved. So much so that a love was born between a man that was not only called Master, but also family and friend. Hollywood won’t tell the stories of that Southern Black man who went off to war with his White family , or about those who stayed home and made the implements of war, provided the food stuffs for the beleaguered Southern army, and help protect the home place from an invading army hell bent on all out war against a defenseless civilian population, or the place of honor and dignity that they all earned .



This new period of Reconstruction is not new, it is the same as the old. Pit the African’s against their old Masters with lies and distortions, parade out the poverty pimps and just keep saying slavery. These new Blacks will believe anything you tell them , they are too stupid to search out the real truths about the complicity of the whole world in the economic institution of slavery and the causes of the war. They have no concept of what being a traitor is because they take no ownership in being Southern.



I would love to come to Mississippi and walk with the Colonel, or take my place outside the stadium donned in the uniform of the Southern soldier with the Southern Cross in my hand. God bless you, and may God see to the vindication of and bless Dixie.

The arrest of Bazz Childress(Wingate Wyndham)

Having heard all the particulars from the Honorable Bazz Childress and having had consultation with the Honorable Roger McCredie, Administrative Director of the Southern Legal Resource Center and past National Heritage Defense Chair of the Sons of Confederate Veterans about the incident inside the hotel room of Wingate Wyndham during the National Sons of Confederate Veterans annual Re-union in Concord, North Carolina, where Mr. Childress was subjected to arrest because he refused to remove the Southern Cross without some interpretation of the contractual agreement from the owner that specified or warranted such removal. I can only draw from my experiences as an expert witness , civil rights activist and civil rights official to include the many hours spent in the courtroom with the Honorable Kirk D. Lyons ; a conclusion that a huge window of opportunity has been opened for those in the legal community who that have fought for so long defending the outrageous charges leveled against those who choose to openly display their love for Southern symbols, the Confederate Battle Flag being foremost in that display.

My only hope is that those who have so generously in the past supported the legal pieces de resistance( an outstanding item, or work ) of the Southern Legal Resource Center in cases like the recent victory in the Duty Case in Kentucky, will immediately open their coffers and provide the necessary support that could lead to huge ramifications for successful outcomes for future defense of Southern Heritage issues in the jurisprudence system in America. Mr. Childress should be commended for his actions that has opened this paramount window of opportunity.

The Presbytery Commission

On Easter Sunday morning past donned in the uniform of the Southern soldier, after spending several hours on the corner of Main Street in Black Mountain, N.C. flourishing his glorious banner, I would attend the church services of Friendship Presbyterian. Several months prior to that, I would attend a Monday morning Men’s Breakfast Club Meeting. I would sign several Confederate Flags for some of the men present and leave them on the table in the front of the dining hall. Evidently I signed one or two too many and they remained there until the next Sunday morning.

Apparently these two actions help lead the way for my dearest friend Doctor Neil Payne who was an Elder of the church to be served this notice by the Presbytery Commission that appeared in the church bulletin while he was away : Regarding the Presbytery Commission: This past week commission acceded to the congregational request and dissolved the official relationship between RE Neil Payne and the Session of Friendship Presbyterian Church without censure effective immediately. Please continue in prayer over these matters and all involved. The Commission is continuing its work and expects to have a fuller report by the next presbytery meeting on August 2.

It was reported to me that one of the white members of the church who has a mulatto grandchild felt that she might have seen the flags on the table and be offended. Never mind the number of times that I have hugged this baby girl while my Confederate tie was fully visible, or in my uniform. It was reported that because of Doctor Payne’s relationship with me, that he was conspiring to turn the church into an Aryan Nations Church. Never mind that my skin is black as the ace of spades.

It was reported to me that this so called Commission was told that Doctor Payne is a racist. I have seen the likes of the Salem Witch Hunt before by the so called Christians who are biased in their thinking against anyone who makes a stand in support of the Christian Cross of Saint Andrew. I find Doctor Payne to be one of the kindest and noblest of any Christian man that I have ever had the privilege of knowing on God’s earth. I love him and his family, and would prompt anyone that I know that they would do themselves proud to get to know Doctor Payne and they too would come to the same.

Had I known that the Northern born Pastor of the church, Pastor Bulkeley and some of his membership festered the now exposed feelings toward my Southland, it’s glorious flag and furthermore, the rankling racist attitude that they themselves have shown while pointing the finger the other way and the manner in which this so called commission would conduct itself ; I can assure all who read these accountings, I would have never entered the doors of this church. However, may God bless them all, and bestow a special blessing upon Doctor Payne and his family and may they forgive me for any shame and dishonor that I may have brought upon them because of my actions.
